October in the Studio
I shared a bit about myself on Instagram today, including a favourite quotation:
I also shared on my insta that I enjoy reading a good mystery of an evening, and I’ve really liked the Ricciardi books set in Naples. I have also read the Inspector Montalbano series and loved it. I often spend my days painting, and then reading about art at night, but even I need a respite from the day job, no matter how much I do indeed love it.
I thought (well) in advance of the holiday season, I would share some of the art I have available at the galleries I’m represented by and I’ll do this again in the coming months. In previous years I’ve learned of collectors buying themselves an early holiday gift so that when they’re entertaining during the season, they can show off a new piece to guests. A floral painting can be, I hope, a beautiful backdrop to a great cocktail party, a dinner, or a family gathering.
Buying a work of art should be easy and fun and I’m represented by some truly wonderful folks who are passionate about art. Ask them about payment plans, layaways, hanging and placement, installation, and shipping. Art can be shipped anywhere in the world!
All of my galleries are listed here. Just click on the gallery name and it will lead you to my work.
If you’re looking for a smaller work, Ashdale Gallery has a few.
Gallery Merrick has one of the tondos I painted earlier this year. A unique piece which really stands out on your walls.
These next pieces are available at Canada House Gallery in Banff.
If you’re in Ottawa, be sure to visit Wallack Galleries.
Lastly, I’d like to feature Wallace Galleries in Calgary. I’ve been showing with Wallace (not to be confused with Ottawa’s Wallack) for nearly 30 years. We’ll be working on an exhibition of my work this coming spring so I'm looking forward to that. They have a number of pieces, including this one:
As I said, you can take a look at all my gallery representation here, and I’ll be featuring more of my work in the coming months. Thanks for looking!
